Santa = Satan?

I remember the scetch from Saturday Night Live where the Church Lady made a striking parallel from Santa to Satan (above link in the title). Who knew Carter would have these same savvy instincts?

Ah- Christmas time. When all the children dream of sugar plum fairies, Jólasveinarnir, etc...and parents make plans for the best holiday for their kids. What could be better, more idyllic, then a trip to Satan...er, I mean Santa Claus?

Well, if you asked Carter...anything would have been better than a trip to Santa Claus. We didn't actually make Carter stay on Santa's lap until we got the perfect "pho-to-graph", because it was obvious from the 3rd second on Santa's lap and Carter was squirming to get off Santa, that this was going to go downhill fast. Santa, a man of his instincts, knew that this was a downward spiral. I suspect he also didn't want Carter's cries to have a domino effect for all the other kids who were following him. So the visit was cut short. Once back in Dad's arms, Carter breathed a sigh of relief, and we all went for lunch. Here are some pictures below.
