But it looks like a band-aid!

Carter had probably one of his last visits with Joanna yesterday. He will be going back again in three weeks, but everything is going really well, and his main reason for visiting (torticollis) has been eliminated. The one last thing Carter is working on is sitting. He is strong enough to sit, but because rolling (oh the rolling) is what compels him, he has little interest in sitting unless it involves eating. Suffice it to say, he doesn't sit independently really well.

His physio (Joanna) put some tape on Carter's abdomen yesterday to activate his "six-pack Buddha belly" and help him sit. If you want more info on this technique, click the title of this post. Logically, it makes sense to me, but at the end of the day, it is just a band-aid...what use will it serve? We will see. We are supposed to practice sitting with him this weekend, to see if he can master the balancing of his trunk-helping him to sit better.

I still don't have pictures of Ruth, and I forgot the camera again today, so I won't get them until this weekend.

What has been on Carter's mind all week? He has been wishing good thoughts to his Ant Jennette who is co-directing a show at the Fringe which opened yesterday. The name of the show...get ready: The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds. For more info on the story, check out: For more information on the show, you can look at the fringe website:

Lastly, the Ashers are coming this weekend. That's right, Laura, Al, and ... well Alison (Laura and the two Als?). I can't wait to get pictures of Carter and Alison hanging out together, and it is going to be great just to chill out (in our 90+ degree weather) with Laura and Al(s).

Have a great weekend!
