Double the flavour, double the fun!

Those of us without children seem to think twins would be fun, easy and a great treat. This is not to say that twins are not these things, because let's face it, kids are just that unexpectedly amazing. However, when I think Carter and/or 2.0 could be 2+...it seems overwhelming. I breathe a sigh of relief when recalling my Auntie Clara read my tea leaves while babysitting me and informed me that I would have twins-knowing 23 years or so later that she was wrong. Maybe she saw little babies in my future, and just didn't realize they were not the same age :)

Anyway, twins seem to be a trend down here with people we know. Having twins that is. My friend Shannon added to her family by two a few weeks ago with the arrival of her twin boys. Shannon and John have a son, Sam (cute-ee pie) in the front of the shot below!

David Joseph (baby A)was born 5/23/06 at 3:22pm, weight 5lbs 15oz,19 1/8 inches
Martin Phillip (baby B) was born 13 min later at 3:35, weight 6 lbs and is 19 1/4 inches.

So, congrats to the Wolkerstorfers who now have something other than baby A and baby B to call their little ones, AND also to Shannon who is finally OFF BED REST (4 months is too long for anyone...even those as patient as Shannon!
