Carter Goes to the Doctor

I thought I would add a post about Carter's doctor's visit yesterday.

Again, he got four more needles-pneumococcal conjugate, polio, Haemophilus type b (Hib), diphtheria tetanus and pertussis (DTP). He cried, I cried- we all cried (well, except the lab tech.).

So- the stats are in on our big lout. He is a health boy, and his doctor sees no problems. She wants to know if we have tall people in our family...because he is so long and big! I think I just make superior milk!

Height: 27 inches (97%)
Weight: 17lb 5oz (90%)
Head Circumference: 16 3/4 inches (50%)

There you have em, folks. Must go. The boy awakes, and demands out of the crib.

Carter-poluza!

I feel silly even using the title Carter-poluza. Back in the day, when Lollapoluza was fab (c. 1991-was that a long time ago?) it was a cool term to use. Now, my parents attended a 65th birthday party for a man, and it was called Al-a-polluza. I am hopeful that there is a Lollapoluza tour this year, this makes me feel less old. However, when you have a 4 month old infant, you certainly don't feel 20 anymore, do you?

SO- below you will find many many many photos of our trip up north. We sure had a great time. Thank you for Ant Jennette for hosting us-and letting us sleep in her bed while she slept on her couch. Thank you as well to Auntie Morrie, Uncle Keith and Talia for letting us crash a few days as well. Talia sure was a great help with Carter, bathing him, and making sure he was entertained with stories.

If any of you would like your photo removed....tooo BAD. It's up for good. There is no changing it!
